Thank you to everyone who voted.
We plan to invite Wheelscape down to a meeting so they can do a presentation for you guys, this will be an opportunity to discuss any tweaks in the design.
Were still a bit short of funding so please get donating on the website, any amount you can. It will all help.

Well it is BAD NEWS for us regarding getting money from Brentwood Share Fund for a tuck shop at Brentwood Skatepark.
This is the email I received.
RE: REQUEST FOR TUCK SHOP ADJACENT TO SKATE PARK, KING GEORGE’S PLAYING FIELDS
Further to your request and application to Brentwood Councils Community Share fund to establish a tuck shop at the above location, I can advise that sadly your application to the share fund and the request to establish a tuck shop has been unsuccessful.
Officers and members that viewed your application felt that despite its obvious positive merits there was a clear conflict with the existing cafe facility in the park and that this could have a negative impact on the established operator at this location. It was also felt that it would be difficult to overcome an legal challenges due to the nature of the contract between the Council and the contractor.
I appreciate you will be disappointed by this decision but the Council will strive to continue to support the Association where it can to move forward with developing the skate park for the future.
